Leclerc Courier offers same-day deliveries in Winnipeg and the surrounding area - but our job isn't just delivering goods. We're the liaison between our clients and their customers!
We currently have a fleet of vehicles and bike messengers servicing Winnipeg’s courier market and we are seeking a qualified and experienced sub-contractor driver.
Starting wage: $17/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Efficiently delivering parcels, letters, equipment and dangerous goods.

Driving within the city of Winnipeg and surrounding area
-
Respecting deadlines and time limits
-
Working independently and managing your own time
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid drivers license
-
Clean drivers abstract
-
Carrying and transporting heavy materials and dangerous goods

Experience in the courier, transportation, or delivery industry

Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Time management skills
-
Being able to make calculated decisions in limited time frames

Working indoors and outdoors

Strong organizational skills

Being punctual, personable, courteous and respectful

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Owning a smartphone

Experience in customer service is an asset*

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification required

Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
This is a sub-contractor position, which means the successful candidate will be responsible for providing their own vehicle to do deliveries. Proof of proper insurance is required.
